Courtyard

British artist Kevin Dean designed and presented the conceptual scheme for the courtyard, in line with the client’s design brief for a ‘flower courtyard pavement’.

Fantini Mosaici worked closely with the artist on the development of the courtyard and prepared the detailed drawings. The plain marble surface covers an area of 17,500 square metres, with intricate, water jet-cut marble flower inlay. The finished floor area, adorned in marble and precious stones, is the largest mosaic carpet made to date.
